For more than 20 years, Ian has been a football and cricket commentator at BBC Radio Gloucestershire, latterly adding rugby union to his skill set.
He has covered matches from Barrow to Bucharest, and from Port Vale to Perpignan, as well as the Millennium Stadium, Twickenham and Wembley.
Ian started doing commentary on Hospital Radio in the mid 1980’s, and came 3rd in the BBC Amateur Commentator competition in 1990.
